Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

How payments work

A club or tournament organizer sets the underlying amount. When Stripe is available, checkout shows the full amount before payment and the organizer connects its own Stripe payout account. Participants enter card details directly into Stripe checkout and do not need a separate Stripe account.

• Stripe may be unavailable until the organizer completes payout setup.
• Venmo, cash, and already-paid submissions require organizer confirmation and do not become verified merely by being selected.
• AnglerHost does not hold organizer funds as a prize escrow service.

Refund responsibility

Unless the checkout or event terms say otherwise, the club or tournament organizer decides refunds for dues, entry fees, side pots, cancellations, disqualifications, and withdrawals. AnglerHost may provide the technical tools but does not decide the underlying dispute.

Tournament entry refunds return the organizer-controlled amount selected for refund. AnglerHost platform activation fees and fees already earned from confirmed registrations are ordinarily nonrefundable unless AnglerHost approves an exception or applicable law requires otherwise.

• Stripe processing fees may not be returned to the organizer when a payment is refunded.
• A rejected manual-payment submission returns the participant to the available payment choices.
• Venmo, cash, check, and other outside-payment refunds must be sent by the organizer outside AnglerHost and then recorded in the financial history.

Club subscriptions

AnglerHost Club is offered for $19.99 per month or $199 per year. A club may receive one 30-day free trial. A payment method is collected securely by Stripe when the trial begins, and billing starts automatically after the trial unless an authorized club billing officer cancels before the trial ends.

The subscription belongs to the club workspace rather than an individual officer. A change in President or other officer does not cancel, transfer, or restart the subscription or trial. The President, Vice President, Treasurer, and any specifically assigned Billing Manager may manage the club subscription.

• Canceling stops future renewals and preserves access through the end of the paid period or trial unless otherwise stated.
• Past subscription payments are not ordinarily refunded merely because an officer changes or the club stops using the service, except where required by law.
• The checkout page displays the applicable price and renewal schedule before confirmation.
